The Japanese garden is a perfect intimate setting for a wedding ceremony. With the beautiful lakes, peaceful waterfalls and serenity it is surely one of the most romantic locations for your wedding. Cross the pond to the other side to the teahouse or just enjoy the view from the bridge of this beautifully manicured garden. Japanese gardens are a suitable venue for weddings all year round.
For your wedding favors your could give out fun shaped cookies, candies in palm tree shaped boxes or create beautiful favor boxes by adding a gorgeous tropical flower head to the top.
Napkins: Another one of those unique wedding decorating ideas you probably didn't think of. Just like the table cloth, a plain white napkin can hardly be considered decor. However, throw in some colored napkins that match the theme of your wedding and you've got yourself another cheap yet beautiful decoration for the wedding.
Place Cards and Wedding Favors Make pretty name cards from cocktail umbrella's by adding a name tag wrapped around the stick. Or print your own name and table number cards at home, add in some colorful tropical motifs such as hibiscus flowers, pineapples and pink flamingos. Why not make your table numbers places instead by using postcards from your favorite tropical paradises.
Any of the above gardens can be used as a theme for your backyard garden wedding. Backyard gardens are intimate and cosy locations for a wedding ceremony and reception. Set up a marquee or a tent for your guests along with an outside dance floor. Alternatively and afternoon wedding in the garden with cocktails and appetisers could be an elegant way to celebrate your special day.
